The Braid Lounge

Agreed to get box braids because they said my hair was too short. When I made it home after appointment, I knew I wasn’t satisfied and that the braids could have been better. The braids looked like a braided wig. Called them and they said a manager would give me a call back. Manager calls the next day to ask what the issue was. I let her know that it’s way too dense at the top, there weren’t clear parts, and the parts in the back are bigger than the front. My hair doesn’t even fall and lay down right. She told me that they gave me free parts, but that is not what I asked for. When she asked if I would like to take some down, I agreed, but then she backed down and said my hair was too short to that and that we should leave it how it is. The service was phenomenal! My first time ever getting my hair washed at a salon and I felt like I was in heaven! I then got a classic corn row hair style and that was superb! I love the way I look and so did many other people. The compliments doesn't stop coming. The salon is very clean and organized and everyone was very professional! I will definitely be back at The Braid Lounge!!!! Five stars is not enough for my rating!!!!! Thank you TBL!!!!

I have brought my daughter here twice so far and she has seen Miss Lola. We are in the process of growing out a pixie cut and the cornrows and single braids have been fantastic! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future!!!

This company was recommended to me by a good friend because she goes to them all the time. This was my very first time going there & my experience was not the best at all. They have very bad poor customer service and poor communication skills when it comes to communicating at a staff and getting back in contact with a customer. I got me the 2-strand twists with triangle parts & natural hair extensions added. My service came to $243 total. $50 deposit, $150 for the style, $40 to detangle my hair (from a previous styling had), plus $3 card machine charge. I would think that giving them that much money that they would know what to do with my hair. I got my service done on February 7th. February 17th, my natural hair extensions are falling out which is only 10 days from my first service. NEVE

She left my hair in the front outside of the cornrows. She tried to slick it down, but with the rain that didn’t work. It doesn’t even look like I just got my hair braided. They called emailed and text me to confirm my appointment five times. And the day before the appointment they said if I didn’t text them back and confirm that they would charge me an additional three dollars. This was after I put a $50 deposit down to save my spot and confirmed with the lady Over the phone after I paid. Poor customer service Rigid late fee and policies that you must sign off and allow them to take Your photos The front desk girl came up to me while my hair was 3/4 of the way done and insisted to get the money because she was leaving early for today. They really need some work and customer service
