The Bodhi Spa Norwood

Having visited many authentic Korean spas in Los Angeles over the years, I can honestly say Bodhi Spa is a wonderful experience. It carries that same sense of intentional quiet and restoration that makes these spaces so healing. For the most part, guests truly respect the whisper policy — which is incredibly important to me. I don’t go to these spaces to socialize; I go to restore. In our busy and often noisy modern world, it feels deeply refreshing to enter a place where quiet is honored. The staff are all lovely and helpful, but Ellie in particular stands out. She is one of the most conscientious people I’ve encountered in a wellness setting. If you’re fortunate enough to meet her, you’ll understand — she has that rare quality where simply being in her presence feels calming and healing.

I had the most relaxing day taking the water journey at Bodhi spa. What you get for the price is amazing. Spending 2.5 hours in the pools, saunas and steam rooms felt so luxurious. The staff is so kind and makes sure you stay hydrated. Clean facilities. Will return!

This was my first experience going to the Norwood location of the Bodhi Spa for a Water Journey. Upon arriving, Celia immediately welcomed me with a warm hand towel. The facilities were clean and calming throughout. Once inside to start my Water Journey, Shayla offered me water to keep hydrated as I began my session. I appreciated how she took the time to respectfully ask guests to keep a whisper voice to not disturb others. I enjoyed myself so much during my time there that I almost fell asleep! The environment was the perfect space to relax and the staff was so professional and attentive. I can't wait to go back again soon.

The staff at Bodhi Spa were super friendly, and the facility itself is quite larger than the others. The locker rooms were spacious and made it easy to get ready. The second ice bath is also a definite bonus. While the overall environment was enjoyable, I did notice hair and small particles in the baths upon entering, even though we were among the first guests to enter for the session. Additionally, there is only one drain on the water journey floor, and water was being squeegeed across the area near the edges of the ice baths and pools during the session, which raised some cleanliness concerns. Overall, aside from these observations, it was a relaxing and pleasant experience.

My friends and I reserved Bodhi for a private (Bday) party and it was so lovely! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with the softest, warm, eucalyptus hand towels..and once we were in the spa we had the most relaxing experience ever! My favorite part was the Infrared Sauna and the mineral pools..ok it was all my favorite :) Thanks so much for such great service and the ultimate experience Bodhi!
