The Blonde Salon

"Excellent"is the only way to describe my color, highlights and cut I have received from Katie! Since relocating here from CT (3+ yrs) I have tried a plethora of salons throughout Boston and honestly was never pleased. Katies Blonde Salon has a great vibe and Katie is a person who exudes patience and kindness. She is a master of her craft. I enjoyed not only my hair outcome, but every minute of my time with Katie.

I’ve tried to book with Katie a few times in the past, and I finally got the chance to see her last February—right before my trip to Cancun. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and cut my hair really short. Mind you, I have black Asian hair and wanted a blonde balayage, which is definitely not easy to achieve. But Katie (the owner) got it impressively close on the first visit, and by my second visit it’s already looking even closer to what I envisioned. I’ll be seeing her again this weekend for a touch-up before my husband’s birthday next month. The atmosphere is amazing, and both Katie and Elaine are incredibly friendly—and I can’t forget her adorable dog! Every visit has been such a great experience. Worst experience ever. I remember I went there with a friend of mine and we were just appalled by what we saw. It was messy, dirty, all over the place. The owner even fried my hair! I got home and I just had it falling out in clumps. They have deleted my previous reviews and it’s just disappointing to see this salon in the revere area. I truly believe this lady is a racist because of how differently she treated me and my friend (Arabic) compared to the white girls coming in! What a horrible place to go 0/10 DONT recommend.

First time here was a great experience. Elaine (sorry if spelled wrong) did my highlights and did a magnificent job, I was more than pleased when I left and prices are very reasonable. I believe the owner, Katie, was also there and so kind, and I just enjoyed myself and relaxed. I got to meet her dog which was honestly the best part, he makes everyone feel welcome. I’m so glad to have found a new hair stylist.

I recently visited The Blonde Salon for the first time, and I can honestly say it’s my new go-to! It had been quite a while since I last had my hair done, and Katie Miller completely transformed my look. She gave me the most beautiful highlights, a fresh cut, and curtain bangs that frame my face perfectly. From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed and comfortable, it didn’t feel like a first-time visit at all. Katie really listened to what I wanted and delivered even better than I imagined. My hair feels light, fresh, and healthy, and I’ve gotten so many compliments already! If you’re looking for a salon that combines talent, warmth, and amazing results, I can’t recommend The Blonde Salon enough.
