Our experience was good at first, but once my daughters haircut was complete and the “blowout” was done we noticed that her hair was in fact was NOT blown out but just blow dried WITH A FLAT BRUSH! Any woman who has ever gotten a haircut or a “blowout” knows the difference between a BLOW DRY & a BLOWOUT. It was very disappointing, especially with a $94 price tag. When this was pointed out at the end the receptionist continued to use the term blowout vs blow dry. I explained to her that they should not be using the term blowout to describe their blow dry because it is a very false claim. My daughter left in tears and I will not be returning solely because the receptionist was very condescending about the whole thing.

The best haircut I’ve ever had! I saw Andi and she was so sweet and really talented. She listened to what I wanted and did a great job. Will definitely be back to see her in the future.

I can’t recommend Brandon enough! I found him five years ago after a long (and frustrating) search for someone who truly understands curly hair—and I’ve been a loyal client ever since. He not only knows how to shape and style my curls so they look their best, but he also takes the time to educate me on how to care for them properly. Because of him, I’ve learned to embrace my natural texture and actually love my curls. On top of that, he’s got a great sense of humor and a personality that makes every appointment feel like you’re catching up with an old friend. I always leave the salon looking and feeling amazing. If you have curly hair and want someone who truly gets it, look no further.

I have been going to Brandon at the Bird's Nest for over a decade and they never disappoint! Over the years Brandon has worked wonders on my hair and fulfilled all my cut and color wishes - pixie, bob, shoulder length, platinum, brunette, redhead, balayage. Most recently they took me from a shoulder length bright copper redhead to a pixie cut platinum blonde. Brandon was incredibly thoughtful throughout the process and took their time - ensuring I left with both gorgeous color and glossy hair - thanks to a keratin treatment at the end. Could not recommend Brandon and the rest of the stylists at the Bird's Nest Salon more!

The absolute WORST EXPERIENCE. STAY AWAY! Ladies, if you love your long, healthy, beautiful hair (who doesn't?), stay FAR, FAR AWAY. I lived one of those hair nightmares because of this place. Very long story short, Pic 1 is the before, and Pics 2 and 3 are the after. I requested a refund (which they did not provide, btw) because: 1) I asked for a TRIM on hair that was down to my belly button. Pics 2 and 3 are actually after the SECOND haircut they gave me... the first one was so bad that I texted them photos of it and they immediately agreed to "fix it" (aka somehow make it so much worse). 2) I asked for a ROSE GOLD balayage with the second cut, and they left my hair RED ORANGE. 3) I had to spend over three hours and nearly $300 to get this corrected at another salon (Shout out to Sp
