I've been a client of The Beauty Room since 2018, primarily for volume lash extensions. I only treat myself to them occasionally now and while I've generally had good experiences, my recent visit was disappointing. I noticed several lash extensions stuck to my eyelid after my appointment. I went back that same evening, and I appreciate them fitting me in. I was in a hurry and felt a bit awkward, so I didn't double-check their work before leaving. Today, my eye still felt irritated. I took a closer look and unfortunately, there were still lashes glued to my eyelid! I called the salon, and they kindly squeezed me in again. I appreciate their efforts, but honestly, I was just over it at that point. It felt like they didn't fully agree that I had lashes glued to my eyelid. I asked them to re

I went for eyelash extensions last weekend. They recommended me a $180 service. After the treatment, I felt uncomfortable at the end of my eye and it hurt when I blinked. I asked the staff to remove some of them. She thought I was not satisfied with the style. In fact, the eyelashes were too low and there were too many at the end. As a result, I went home and felt uncomfortable when I washed my face or blinked for two days. I felt pain when I touched my eyelashes. I paid $199.53 plus a $10 tip, a total of $209.53. When I checked out, the receptionist asked me if I liked it? I said no, but no one asked me why I didn't like it or what they could do for me! Very disappointed. Definitely will not go back again.

**MORNING AFTER UPDATE** I woke up with the right side of my eye stuck shut. It was watery, goopy, dischargey. The entire lower half of my eye is bright red. I just got done with urgent care. I have an almost 2-inch scratch in my eye from the paper rubbing against my eye for over an hour. I’m waiting on some antibiotics eye drops and some ointments or creams. Yikes. Beauty Room has a strict “no refund” policy, but I think many can argue that the right thing to do here would be to make an exception. Needless to say, I won’t be going back. Got my eyebrows done. First time was rubbah and super uneven went back to get it fixed there’s still alot of issues. I tried not to make a scene so I’m just gonna fix it at home.

I have my favorite lash tech that I go to at the beauty room. When I first started doing my lashes I did try out a few different lash techs but by far my lash experience differs greatly. With my favorite lash tech, she is SO AWESOME and I will only go to her. If she ever were to leave I would follow her since in my opinion she is the best. So based on this one person, I give the beauty room 5 stars. I did have a few “not so good” lash experiences prior to her, so I guess it really just depends who you get. It is a little pricey but totally worth it for my girl. For selfish reasons, I don’t want to mention her name or else I feel that everyone is going to rush to book with her and it’ll be way harder to get my appointments with her lol, so please forgive me, my favorite person!
