Cheri tried a new method of extension installation on my hair which she did not have experience with and admitted it was taking much longer to install the extensions than usual because I was only the second person she attempted this new method on. I was not made aware beforehand that she was going to try a new installation method on me and was told about it when she was almost complete with the install. Please keep in mind also I was charged full price. Due to her admitted lack of experience with the installation method she used on me, I experienced significant pulling, tension, loosening, pain, and hair loss. I had to have the extensions removed and Cheri refused to refund any of my money.

Cheri is very good at listening to hair styling ideas and making it come to fruition. She uses a hair dye that doesn't sting my sensitive scalp and I appreciate that she offers different levels of service for hair dying so I can fit it into my budget and time constraints. I've never had a problem finding parking close to her shop, and I've never had to wait for another client to be finished, which means she schedules herself enough time for appointments. Cheri is also just an awesome human being - we've become good friends over the years.

I had an appointment with Cheri today for a haircut. It was my first visit to her salon The Beauty Collective! I had to most wonderful experience! Cheri was so easy going, fun to talk to and gave me the beat haircut! The atmosphere is very nice and laid back. It did not feel like my first time in! I’ve been a regular client at The Beauty Collective in Dublin for over eight years and I’ve had IBE extensions with Cheri for six years. Cheri is a true professional—highly skilled, always continuing her education, and her color matching is outstanding. My extensions always blend seamlessly and look natural. She recently trained in a new install technique and I was excited to be one of the first to try it. Zero soreness, zero tender scalp, and the best hold I’ve had. Also worth saying: extension issues aren’t automatically an “install problem.” Aftercare, daily wear, and outside factors matter—and Cheri is thorough about educating clients on how to get the best results. I saw a review claiming this method was painful and didn’t last, and that is the total opposite of my experience. And

Love this salon. I’ll never go anywhere else. Cheri is incredibly talented and worth the visit based on that alone, but she’s also very professional, personable, and frankly fun to be around. I’d question anyone who would rate her less than 5 stars. I’m fairly certain anyone who has are not clients of this place. I’ve never heard or read a negative review of her in any of the years she’s been open.
