The kind, beautiful, and talented women here at The Beauty Barn were gracious enough to accommodate me for my Finger Lakes elopement this early spring. Even though I was nervous about my makeup for my bridal look, Alison was like a magician and managed to nail the look I wanted flawlessly, allowing me to look and feel even more beautiful for my ceremony and photography photos. One of their hair stylists Justine was just as amazing and was able to skillfully style my hair just the way I wanted it. The location and the building are not only gorgeous and cute, but from the moment I stepped foot inside I felt very welcomed and comfortable. Alison really took the time to listen to what I wanted, and she and Justine were such joys to talk to while they worked on me. Both on the day of my trial

My first facial was an excellent experience! I was a little nervous but Alison was professional and personable and made me feel extremely safe and comfortable. I’m thrilled with the results, my skin is glowing! I’m definitely hooked and will be back for more. She was doing a bridal makeup trial in the appointment before mine and the bride-to-be looked stunning afterwards, I’m also engaged and am definitely considering coming here for my bridal makeup as well. The place is clean and cutely decorated. I loved everything about the experience, absolutely would recommend!

Alison and Justine from Beauty Barn did make-up and hair for me and my mom for my wedding, and I can say that it was such a lovely experience, with such incredible results. I'm not someone who usually wears a lot of make-up, and we don't live in Ithaca, so we couldn't do a trial run. Despite that, my make-up looked AMAZING and I am now a fake eyelash devotee. I never would have tried them on my own, but Alison was so right that they would look great. Justine did an INCREDIBLE job with my hair, using the piece I brought, and just making it look so whimsical and lovely, which is exactly what I wanted. I highly, highly recommend them!
