The Barbers

Niki was wonderful with our 18 month old son for his first haircut! She did a fantastic job with the cut we wanted and was so gentle with him. We will be back!

This place wasn't a safe atmosphere. I pray the owner finds Christ. Jesus transformed me. He can transform you too: John 3:16, John 14:6 - to answer your question: I had a very anxiety enducing encounter with one of your barbers, and I am saddened by it. I asked him how long he had been cutting hair, and he was threatened by the question, and kicked me out of the stayton barber shop, claiming that I thought he was too incompetent to cut hair when I was only asking a simple question. And I believe that God can transform his life if he lets him, but it's gonna be a long road. I pray for Cory and that I didn't hurt him too much by my question. I ask it to every barber I have.

I have had nothing but good experiences. Staff are polite, professional, and do a good job. If you want a traditional barber experience this is your place. Good service and conversation. Staff are good with kids. I recommend this shop.

I’m not usually picky about haircuts, but this experience deserves a heads-up to others. I went in for a simple cut and walked out with a glaring missed patch on the back of my head—something you’d expect from a rushed freebie, not a $30 service. The barber mentioned he was heading to a 48-hour rave right after my appointment and seemed pretty distracted the whole time. Based on his conversation with the previous customer, I almost left before it was my turn—and I probably should have. It’s one thing to have a laid-back vibe, but it’s another to be so checked out that you leave your last customer of the day with a half-finished cut. I won’t be coming back.

I took my son to The Barbers recently and got his hair cut by someone new. We were really bummed out that Rudy doesn't work there anymore. The lady there did super fast job and charged way more than it was before. We are very unhappy with his cut. It is uneven and I've even had people notice how bad it is and point it out. Her technique was sloppy and she seemed like she raced through the process just to get back to sitting there on her phone. My son did not enjoy the experience at all, as she wasn't very friendly. But good news is we found Rudy at Javi's Fades in Salem and will be booking an appointment with him, once my son's hair grows back. The cut will actually be a little bit more than what The Barbers are charging and it's an extra drive. But it's totally worth it for someone who ha
