The Barber's Pole Barber Shop is an excellent place to get a haircut and shave. I have been going here for over 3 years now, and will not go anywhere else. I feel relaxed there and pampered with hot towel wrap. Nadia is friendly, and gives bubbly/energetic service with a smile. She can brighten the darkest of days. You walk in as a clump of clay, and walk out as a masterpiece. She is the only one I trust with a straight edge razor. I highly recommend Nadia at The Barber’s Pole. Nadia has taste and style 100%! Best service and skill in the Vancouver area when it comes to hair style. You get a real cut with scissors, a skin shave with a blade, and the warm towels ext.... one stop shop for products and hair styles. Happy customers number x.

Update: Added a star. Not a scam; I at least got a prompt refund. Evidently they were closed for the day with no note on the building, nothing preventing booking appointments, and no cancellation of appointments booked. Still unprofessional and wasted my time. Waste of time and possibly a scam. Made an appointment on Square 24 hours in advance. Showed up 5 minutes before my appointment. Lights are on but door is locked and nobody is there. Door says call a # and she'll be right there. Called the # three times and no answer. Very unprofessional. Is zero stars an option?

Nadia was excellent she gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years, exactly what I asked for and very attentive to making me feel relaxed and refreshed I will definitely come back
