The Barbers Inn

Not only did they do great jobs on my two sons haircuts, but they also were awesome with my daughter. One employee played cards with her almost the entire time we were there, so she would not get antsy and bored. Beyond satisfied with the outcome.

Took my 4yr old son here for his first shape up the 2 gentlemen did a great job making my son feel comfortable, joking with him, making him laugh. Kev did an amazing job on my sons shape up and line he has a forever customer. I appreciate the customer service given soon as you step foot in the door, it's a very welcoming place.

If I could give anything less than a one star, I would. They price gouge big time. First time ever coming, got my son’s haircut (he’s 7), my son literally only gets his sides lined up because he has locs (no hair to cut) and my other son who’s 2 and hasn’t become used to the barber yet - only had a little of his sides cut with the highest guard. Was told that it’s normally $70, but since my 2nd son didn’t get much, “it’ll be $60”. Worst barbershop ever. Take me back to the days where folks cared about the congregation of men and boys (and some women) to come to a place to be serviced, talk about the work week and a safe space to vent. It’s clearly all about money at this location. This location was in east liberty by the way.

I went here yesterday for a haircut. Worst haircut I’ve ever had! And I was charged 40 and gave a 10 tip! I didn’t notice till I showered what he did. He didn’t use any scissors!! Clearly had no clue the difference between white hair and black hair! Now I get to go pay 30 more to get it fixed!

If you’re a first time goer here, my suggestion would be to pick somewhere else unless someone recommends you. I was priced gauged big time. Charged $30 for a shape up that didn’t include my hairline up top, goatee was not lined up and there’s cut hairs still on my face, no wipe down. The 2 stars I gave is for good atmosphere and was acknowledged upon entering.
