The Barber Shop

Diane has been cutting my hair and trimming my beard for over thirty years. From my wild and wooly days into my thinning white hairs of today-Have always trusted the job she does and never had an issue. Friendly atmosphere. When I retire soon, I'll have to work on getting my cuts when I travel to the city.

Okay my secret. I was in love with Dianne the first time 30 years ago I stopped in yep I love my barber like a sister I never miss an appointment always early. I guarantee nobody can cut hair like she can. You don't have to tell her what to do. The mirror at the end don't bother to look. I never want to leave.Its like a man's cave in a woman's barber shop when I get out in the real world. I'm walking on air, sometimes 3 days before I come back down to earth. My wife had to come down a couple times and check it out. She questioned my loyalty, dedication, commitment. I was the same guy my smile 3 days straight is all that's an awesome haircut It's like I came out lookin like George Clooney maybe. Great place to get a good haircut for a more than reasonable price. Lisa and Diane are personable and focused on the customer. And the canine company is a big plus. I second Fred and Bill unreservedly!! I actually drive 370 miles to get my hair cut there. As for no website, who needs one when word-of-mouth is so great. Okay, good point about not knowing the rates ahead of time, but $14 is very reasonable whether you know ahead of time or when you walk in and see them posted on the wall. As for the cash-only policy, well. Lisa and Diane had no problem trusting me for the $14+tip while I walked around the corner to the ATM just 100 feet away. Now I make sure I have enough cash with me beforehand everytime I return.

Unwelcoming and rude if you are not a regular and don't have an appointment. The girl that cut my hair was quick and careless - nicking one are and neck and left hair uneven in the back. I felt very uncomfortable. If a customer can't wait to walk out the door, then you know the establishment is doing something wrong.

Fred her doggie and I have a special relationship. He's a sweetheart and Diane has given me the best haircut ever!!! Love them both.
