The Barber of Fountain Hills

new to the area, looking for barber. I like smaller independent shops, esp cause with our hair is not difficult to cut. my 21 y/o son came back yesterday very disappointed. He likes a buzz cut- 5 on top and 2 on sides. just short all over. he got something that requires a hat. she did not cut the top, the front was uneven. i was going to go today, but i will take him somewhere else to fix this. he normally goes to supercut chains without issue.

I have found my barber in FH!! This is a one-chair, barber-owned operation, which I like. Giovanna is the barber, and a very nice lady she is. This is no 10-minute haircut. The appointments are for 30 minutes, and she takes her time and discusses the cut with you as it progresses. The guy after me commented that Giovanna is the best in town. I agree. She cuts men's and women's hair. Not a fancy salon price either. I lauded her to my wife, and she's going to start going there herself. Kudos to Giovanna.

Not recommended. Cheap, but I regret the haircut. Worst among my problems with it - she shaved one sideburn completely, which I did not ask for, but also didn’t trim the other side at all. Thats a huge mistake from someone doing this for decades. I cut my own hair after to fix my issues, until I can visit trusted hands.

Giovanna gave me the best haircut I've had since my Sister cut my hair years ago. My hair is difficult to cut and her came out great! I will always go there for my haircuts from now on. Nice clean shop and very friendly!
