The Bamboo Store

My interaction of my first 5 seconds into the store: "Sorry you can take pictures of the smaller toys, but not a video of the whole store" (I was taking pictures to send to a friend to show him the cool statues they have) "Oh sorry I didnt know, can I ask why?" "Thats it" with a dismissive hand gesture and moves on to the next person. I understand you can have store policies, but maybe dont treat a random stranger so dismissively the second they walk int your store for the first time.

All bootleg anime figures and merchandise. Do not come here for their overpriced junk. Clearly you can tell they bought bootleg cheap figures online and are charging the same price or higher as legitimate ones. Avoid avoid avoid..

BE CAREFUL, AVOID THIS STORE!!This store is a joke! I visited this store yesterday at the Meadowood Mall with my two daughters, intending to make a significant purchase. We were excited because the shop carries beautiful items like anime statues, Pokémon figures, and plants. I had cash in hand and was ready to buy several expensive collectibles, regardless of the price. ​From the moment we walked in, the experience was uncomfortable. A man was hovering constantly right next to us. At first, I thought he was just another customer, but it turned out he was the employee shadowing us as if we were trying to steal. The atmosphere was incredibly hostile. ​I picked up a figure simply to find a price tag because there were no visible prices on anything, and the "Do Not Touch" signs were tiny stick

Amazing shop with high quality niche products, and the owner is super friendly and helpful! Looove their incense, and I got a great little singing bowl that is so superb. They also have a huge natural tea selection for tea lovers!

All of these negative reviews are true. They do follow you everywhere the entire time. They can be very awkward and somewhat rude. The “Do not touch” signs are written on small or sticky price tags like you would find on a can of soup. I’m only giving 4 stars because I personally have never had a bad experience in there the few times I’ve been. There are literally THOUSANDS of statues and figures in this store, along with many other things. But don’t you dare touch one gosh darn thing!!! Here’s a fun game to play if you are going in to browse: Don’t play into their game. I will let them follow me for quite some time, completely ignoring them while browsing. Then I bombard them with questions about everything, even if I’m not really interested in the item(s). Make lots of comments about t
