The Ax Edge Barbershop

I recently visited Ax Edge Barber Shop with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I had an appointment with Amy, and I was looking forward to a fresh, stylish haircut. However, the result was a complete disaster. Amy seemed distracted and rushed through the entire process. Despite my clear instructions, she ended up cutting my hair much shorter than I wanted and completely messed up the style. The uneven lengths and choppy layers made it look like a botched job. I left the shop feeling furious and extremely disappointed. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of attention to detail and care was unacceptable. I expected a professional service, but what I received was far from it. I hope Ax Edge Barber Shop takes this feedback seriously

Well not sure how to say this. I paid 90 dollars for a flat top. It was great service and all, I went in and ask for flat top, and let him do his thing,then he broke out the straight razor, fine tuned my brows and then when all was done handed him a hundred, he gave me 10 dollars back? I'm not a cheap person, so I didn't question the charge. But charging this much to me was insane. When I got home and looked at the back I see that I have been scalped right through the center . This was the worst visit to a barber shop I have ever experienced. Beware. They have no pricing posted. I expect someone to tell me what the services are gonna cost before you just start doing them.

Not sure why I’ve gone here more than once. First time was a bad experience with Jeff. (Guy is going blind, can’t fade hair to save his life, and he smells like cigarette smoke) Maybe because it’s close to the house and it’s convenient. That won’t happen anymore. Both times my neck has broke out, had scabs around my throat. Been sore for days after due to excessive force with the electric trimmers. This is just ONE of many issues. Last visit was the final straw for me. Suppose to get a LOW fade. That is NOT what I got. My hair is not faded at all. Looks like I got a some kind of military cut. Fortunately I wear a hat so I didn’t make a big deal about it but I felt rushed throughout the cute. There’s was no quality put into cutting my hair.

Nice little barbershop, been going here for over a year now. Jeff is the man!! I've been told my hair is a little hard to fade but Jeff knows his stuff and I walk out with a perfect fade every time. He has a very precise eye, steady hand, and puts out top quality cuts. I'll continue to go here as long as I live in the area. Ask for Jeff and you won't be disappointed.

Amy runs a wonderful old fashioned single chair barber shop! I went in at my wife's request / demand after being lazy about my looks for a few months. Amy got to work on my shaggy beard and wild mop of hair and got me all fixed up for my meeting the next day. I have crazy cowlicks and thick hair... no problem for her! Everything is blended well and I didn't even find any wild hairs going their own direction that needed fixing the next day like I usually do with haircuts. The straight razor shave (sorry, she doesn't really use an ax) with hot towels was great! I hadn't had such a close shave since as long as I could remember. I left with a great new look and feeling very refreshed. Highly recommended but be aware, she is becoming very popular! Call for an appointment or have a little time p
