The 8 Barbershop

Came in for a walk in got seated quick and immediately got to work, I got Carlos and bro did not rush he took his time straightening out everything making sure everything's lined up, no un-even parts, everything was equally faded and lined up. It took about 40 minutes which is not bad at all and was about $30 for the cut. Highly recommend definitely my go to place now. 10/10.

Since that visit, I’ve come back multiple times and have never been disappointed. Each time the cut is sharp, consistent, and exactly what I asked for. The barbers are clearly passionate about what they do, and it shows in the final result. If you’re looking for a barbershop in San Diego where you leave looking sharp and feeling respected, "The 8 Barbershop” is absolutely worth a try. Highly recommend

I noticed this barbershop opened a few months ago by my house. I decided to walk-in today. Accessibility: 5/5 - Plenty of street parking on L Ave. However, if you’re in a wheelchair, the incline may help some what difficult. They are open on Sundays! This is huge if you have kids or can’t get to the barber during the week or Saturday. Cleanliness and Atmosphere: 5/5 - very clean inside with good lighting for each station. There are two TVs, couches, and a pool table as well as an ATM. Cut: 5/5 - Frankie was my barber. Super chill and friendly. I went with a super high skin fade and top level. Definitely will be back.

Gave my friend a great haircut but made us sit for almost 50 minutes waiting. It would be okay to wait if we knew how long we would wait for. Rather, they just said yeah we can take you in just have a seat. I ended up going to a different place where they got me in immediately and did a great job.
