Texture Curl Bar

This review of much overdue, but Bella and her team did an amazing job back I. September 2024 for my bridal hair and for all 4 of my bridesmaids! The vibe that whole morning was so calm and relaxing, and Bella got my style exactly right. I wanted my natural curls to pop and that’s exactly what she did! My girls were all so pleased as well, and we all still looked fabulous hours later for pictures!

I've been a loyal customer at Texture Curl Bar for over three years, and my hair is the healthiest it's been since I was an adolescent. Though this review is long overdue, I want to commend the exceptional service I receive year after year. Initially, Jiolka was my stylist, but for the past year, Bella has been taking care of my hair. I've had everything done, from Ouidad cuts and custom texturelights to toners and Curly Girl blowouts with flat ironing. I also bring my two daughters here for their cuts. We absolutely love the professionalism, the inviting atmosphere, and most importantly, the care and attention we receive with each visit. If you haven't checked them out yet, I highly recommend you do!

I have came in with the idea of what I already wanted, I wanted long layers because the last haircut Bella gave me left my hair very flat. I showed her the measurement of where I wanted the shortest layer to fall and when she cut the first piece she cut three inches off. That’s when I knew she messed up. I emphasized throughout the appointment I do not want my hair short, I expressed to her that short hair does not look right with my face shape, I even showed her pictures of what I do not want! When she was done I was mortified, My hair was up to my shoulders when I came into the appointment with it towards my middle back. My daughter’s curly hair was brought to life today thanks to the Texture Curl Bar. They had great customer service, a clean facility and a warm atmosphere. We had color and a curly cut and my daughter said “this is the best my hair has ever looked!”. My daughter also left with the knowledge on how to properly style her hair. The first time I saw that the Reading area got a salon for curly girls and boys I was so excited! I booked immediately. My first session was a simple wash & go with Joilka and I was amazed with her skill and that she could make my hair look like that! They give you helpful tips and make sure you know what products are being used and why. I’ve booked cuts and color sessions with both Stephanie and Bella and was blown away by the results. They are so friendly and knowledgeable and really take the time to make sure you’re happy with your results. I always leave feeling sassy and happy. If I could give 1000 stars I would and definitely recommend to any texture babes.
