Tena Hair Braiding

Do not waste your time going here, because they have no problem wasting your time while you’re there. I called before I came in, saying I wanted my own hair braided and did not have a lot of time. I went to The Mall at West End, as their address says— they are not located in the mall. Once I finally arrive at the correct location, I tell them again that I do not have a lot of time and I want my own hair cornrowed all the way down, no extensions. After asking me if I was quoted a price, a lady tells me my style will be $90. Though I had washed & blown out my own hair, I was ok with that. I show a reference photo, and told my braider I want cornrows, ALL THE WAY DOWN, NO INDIVIDUALS, NO HAIR OUT. This lady on the end did my hair in a swoop braided ponytail. She acted like she knew what she was doing but I had to tell her how to braid my hair. I camed around 10:00 Sunday morning I didn't leave until 6 pm bout time she got finished I had to tell her to take the back down cus all the braids was sliding out. They charged me 180 for a swoop braided ponytail. Some fat lady beside her made me pay my money up front cus she said she was fina go home guessing she was the manager. Very bad experience they do good with single braids but not with scalp braids. Tryna over charge me for a lenghys she didn't do and she didn't do the knots on the ends good.

I went here today to get knotless braids with beads. Tina did my hair, she was being stingy with using the edge control on my actual hair to give it that sleek look. Tina also did not do my beads the way I asked her to she did then how she wanted to do them.

I love the fact that they accept walkin. me and my husband are definitely coming back. 💕

Bad business make head hurt use to much gel on locs. Not worth the money.
