Techniques Hair Studio

I’ve been going to Techniques for well over ten years, after moving to Rochester from Las Vegas. As many people can relate, finding a new stylist can be difficult. I can truthfully say I have never, ever, had a bad experience. The professionalism, skill and care that goes into a session is beyond compare. I have continually had strangers stop me in stores asking where and who does my hair. I happily tell them Michele, and also advise if she is unavailable, any of the stylists share the same work ethic. Techniques is the best!

Erica (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) did an AMAZING JOB ON MY HAIR!! I left feeling like I got exactly what I wanted! She cut my CURLY hair exactly how I asked her to. And was incredibly patient. Not to mention it was a last minute booking!! I 1000% will be booking with her again. The salon seemed booked up and busy many different stylists. So I’d imagine all the other stylists are probably very skilled aswell. Before and after photos below. I had a lot of length weighing my curls down the chop made them bounce back up

I'm about to write the kind of review that I would personally tend not to believe because I must gush about how wonderful this salon and service is. I have always thought that I was in the chairs of great stylists at all times, and one visit to Techniques and I *knew* I was with a tippy-top-notch stylist. Without saying much to her prior, Michelle used her vast experience and reasoned out what I was looking for with my highlight service. It felt great to be right on the same page as my stylist right out of the gate!! That was amazing and super cool. The other thing that totally made me LOVE this salon was that I asked for my highlights to be noticeable when I have my hair in pigtails, that the underside needed to be addressed, too. I called to see if I could be seen for a trim with layers and highlights that day and I'm so grateful Sheryl answered! I came right in and she did not disappoint! I absolutely love how my hair turned out! She gave me such a boost of confidence, I've been smiling for days 😊 I can't wait to go back!!
