I booked Kia’s Touch for a sew in and updo. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30 AM, but at 10:16 AM just minutes before my appointment she texted me saying she was having car issues and would not be able to start until 12:00 PM. This was extremely short notice, especially since I had already driven nearly an hour to the salon and had a photo shoot that same day which she knew. I asked for a refund due to the inconvenience, but instead she said she would take an Uber and still come, which she eventually did. During the appointment, her professionalism was very disappointing. She was very nonchalant, constantly on her phone, stopping to talk to friends instead of focusing on my hair. She also told me she could not do the updo because of the type of hair I provided (kinky straight). As a

Jade is always very welcoming , her space is always clean , and for a natural girly , whatever treatments she have used in my hair for the past couple years have helped to maintain hair growth and just a healthy hair overall. I had such a therapeutic experience! Customer service was 10/10. I was greeted immediately upon entry, my service provider was alerted and came out quickly to escort me to the room. Snacks were provided and I appreciated the quiet. I truly got to relax and being a mother this was much needed. I can’t wait to go back and get a fresh set.
