I’ve been seeing Emma since she was located on Lincoln. I stumbled upon her via a Groupon probably over 10 years ago. I’ve followed her wherever she’s relocated because her service, professional demeanor, prices & results are always excellent & most importantly consistent. She recently added to her craft as a hair stylist. It’s an all in one beauty shop for me! Especially with her location in the city I don’t have to drive far. She leads by example by taking care of herself & making sure you do too! Her products don’t irritate my skin which I’ve found common in other salons. I’ve taken my daughters to her & they both feel very comfortable. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend!

RACIST BARBER SHOP I brought my 13-year-old Black grandson in for a haircut. When we walked in, I was greeted by a woman at the front desk. I asked if they could take him, and a barber — who was already with a customer — loudly shouted "No." The receptionist then told me that no one there could do his type of hair. The way this was handled felt dismissive and unprofessional. If the barbers are not trained or comfortable cutting certain hair types, that should be stated clearly and respectfully. Everyone deserves to be treated with courtesy, regardless of their hair texture or background. This was done in front of my grandson. I'm grateful he is still clueless how hateful people can be.
