Tarbaby is the most knowledgeable hairstylist I know. She is a hair guru. If you want someone who will be honest with you when it comes to your hair, she is it. Her patience is on 100%, I know because I have tested it FOR YEARS. I left and went elsewhere because of her relocation but I never found anyone to compare to her therefore I have now commuted to her new location in PHILLY., from Brooklyn. The Oura in her shop is of high creativity! Her energy is pure! She cares about your hair! You ever known someone who hyped about the health of your hair?!?, That is Tarbaby. Janice is absolutely wonderful! She truly cares about hair health, and first and foremost makes sure that your hair is healthy and strong. And if not, she works to get your hair to a point where it is. She has an amazing array of natural products, which she makes herself, that have worked wonders on my hair, including a hair oil and shampoo. She also is always happy to recommend other natural products to help you achieve your hair goals. She has such a bubbly personality, and it is always such a pleasure going to her salon. She has been with me through my hair journey from permed to natural, and it's because of Janice that the journey has been a success. I am so happy with my natural hair and how healthy it is. Instead of doing the big chop, I grew out my perm, so it required a lot of TLC.

Her hair scalp oil has been wonderful not only is it moisturizing and smells good but it fosters great hair growth and health. Her hair cream is incredible - as someone with dry hair I can’t recommend it enough. It moisturizes without leaving a flaky residue. Tarbaby is 10/10!!
