We had an amazing experience at The Taper Barber Lounge. My wife is very particular about her hair—she likes a clean #2 cut with some length on top—and Abbie, the owner, delivered it perfectly. She’s been cutting hair for 16 years and has owned this shop for 4 years, and it shows in every detail of her craft. The space is spotless, comfortable for all ages, and has a modern, welcoming vibe. The service menu is impressive: hot towel shaves, precision haircuts, beard trims, and express steam facials. She tried the express steam facial, and it was fantastic—deeply relaxing, refreshing, and made the whole experience feel elevated. I think this place is absolutely excellent for atmosphere and has wonderful potential for where it will go. The two ladies here are absolutely amazing. They're all in one experience was very relaxing. The only piece of feedback that I have i noticed that the shampoo station chair was very uncomfortable to lean back in.. a lot of water went down my face and in my ears because of this.

Received another great haircut and a relaxing hot shave from Abbie. She’s a very talented barber and runs a great shop — clean, good music, nice ambiance and great selection of products too. The best part about Taper is how you’re treated as an individual client, never rushed like a number for someone’s daily quota. This an amazing shop!

First visit today and treated myself to "The Works". Shop is in a very nice area with plenty of lighted parking. Store was sparkling clean and with a comfortable layout. I arrived about ten minutes early for my appointment and they got me in my chair right on time. Abbie I believe was the name of the young lady that took care of me, come to find out she is also the owner. Super friendly and welcoming. She discussed with me what I wanted, made some suggestions of her own, then went to work. Plenty of friendly conversation, just a genuinely nice person that made me feel welcome and appreciated. When this shop opened up near my home I decided to give it a try about 6 months ago. I had never had a trusted barber since moving to Tucson, till I met Abbie. Each time I go the experience is fantastic. I highly recommend to anyone that is searching for a barber who can take care of you each and every visit!
