I had an extremely disappointing experience at Tania JB Salon on 6/20/2025. I went in for a simple wash, blow dry, and a light trim to refresh my layers. I have fine, curly hair, and from the moment I sat down, I could tell they were unsure how to handle it. Their handling felt like they were scared to even touch my hair during the blow drying process, which immediately made me uneasy. I specifically told them that I wanted to keep as much of my length as possible. I think it was the manager who did the initial cut, then she handed me off to someone else to blow dry and flat iron. While that person was doing my hair, she looked over at the manager and smirked—then quickly looked away like she was trying to hide it. My stylist has a high level of knowledge in hair processes and treatments beside an ample experience obtained in most than twenty years serving the community in Kearny and surrounded areas. 100% Recommendable, Ladies and Gentlemen. Tania is the best! She knows what she's doing. Very knowledgeable about hair, she takes care of my hair abd my family's as well. Recommend to go here for haircuts, blow dry and high lights or balyage.

Overall pleasant environment.. but won’t go there for a cut again. I booked hair/cut for $35 but was charged $60… I guess blow dry cost an extra $25. The cut was mediocre. $25 for blow dry was worth it as the person takes her time and I got lots of hair. Because I got lots of hair, her cutting skill is lacking because if I don’t blow dry my hair after every wash, I will look like a lion. The cut didn’t get the job done… solely depends on blow drying to get the hair style.

Tania was wonderful!! Im from our of town and Called last minute for root touch up and she went up and beyond. My hair came out great!! Highly recommended, Nice, clean and friendly salon. Great service and reasonably priced. Definitely recommended, will be back when I am back in Kearny,FP
