Posting from my husband's account: Huge shout out to Tammy at Tammy's Salon in Peculiar! Recommended by a friend, I went to her last year to cut my hair short, so when I lost it due to chemo, it wouldn't be so dramatic. She did a great job, making it cute even though it was very temporary. Fast forward a year, and I stopped in to make an appointment to have her trim the raggedy mess that is finally growing back, just so I would feel less self conscious. She actually had a few minutes, miraculously, and washed and trimmed it right then! It needs to grow in more to look good again, but now at least it looks groomed. She also gave me some great advice about the whole process, which I so appreciated. I left there feeling human and even a little normal for the first time in a year... G
