Talkin' Heads Salon

My sister lives in town and I saw her bangs and was like okay I have to go to this salon. I’ve been dying to get curtain bangs, and this was the best haircut I’ve had in literal years. I felt like a new person walking out of the salon! Highly recommend Marilyn!! 😇

Two appointments ago the person doing my hair added blonde to my regular hair color. I have gray hair and even me,a a bovice, knows what happens to gray when blonde is added. My scalp was red and my hair took on an orangey color. During my last appointment she added ash and tried a gloss. Not much of a solution. A week later I could see the red scalp and orangey tint to my hair. I remember the salon employee saying that she was part of a large community and if she was unable to repair the damage she would consult with them. She did not inspire any confidence in me. I am now waiting for it to grow out more so that I could consult with someone who can repair the damage. Very, very disappointed.

This salon is in a cute little town and they have a beautiful riverfront area nearby. Everyone is super kind, but I come to this salon for Marilyn, who has been doing my hair for over 6 years. I followed her when she moved salons. Marilyn always makes her clients look great, but she's also very realistic and gives practical advice when it comes to hair care. She's amazing with both cut and color. I have very stubborn grays and she came up with a way to hide them, without the need for me to get my hair done very frequently. I always get compliments even when the color is growing out. Highly recommend!

I love nick this guy is phenomena! I was in miami and some woman totally fucked my hair up. People said I looked like a female soccer player with a buzz cut and a glued toupee on. NOT KIDDING. nick somehow fixed my head, I’m actually getting goosebumps. Super personable super kind. Extremely knowledgeable. Great guy. Great barber. Thank you so so so much Nick and talking heads. I’m gonna look so good for wedding.
