Tai's Nails & Lashes

Today I went to this place for a manicure, pedicure, waxing, and some relaxation. I was assigned to a young Asian technician who, unfortunately, didn’t speak a word of English and needed a translator for everything. As a breast cancer survivor, I always bring my own nail polish and tools. I explained to the owner—or the person who greeted me, who also served as the translator—that I had lymph nodes removed from my left arm due to metastatic breast cancer. Because of that, even a small infection near that area could be dangerous for me. I asked for a French manicure, but after checking with the owner for translation, he (the owner) told me they don’t do French manicures with regular nail polish. Just got my Nails done there. When I got there, all the people who work there were on their phones did not bother looking up it was a as if I was not there I’m not happy with what was done. The shape is amazing, but the most important part which is the color… I am not happy about it at all. Here’s a picture of the inspiration and pictures of what I got. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I walked in for a soak off around 4:45 PM. They weren’t busy at all and a man at the front (I believe he’s the owner) told me to sit in the first chair. He grabbed my hands and started to take off the nails with a cuticle cutter to which I thought he was prepping my nails for a soak off so I didn’t say anything. He then took an acrylic nail and dug underneath my acrylic nails ripping them off. It hurt and I was clearly uncomfortable. If I wanted them ripped off I could’ve did that from my home by myself and not wasted $15. I’m bleeding now, my nails are all uneven, PAPER THIN, and to top it off he didn’t even get all the acrylic off. I came there yesterday and got my nails and feet done. At first I was pleased with him because was going fast. Then I realized he was going fast because he was skipping steps. It’s when it got to the feet. He did not scrub my feet good barely at all. The nails look dull not shiny. My feet are rough as hell on the bottom. I didn’t want to make a fuss in front of all those people but I do want them to fix the situation.

This place isn't bad. It's some of the employees who don't do their Jobs right or with passion. For example like Mindy who did my Volcano spa pedicure Yesterday (10-21-21) came in around 5pm. She didn't do her job right and did the job as fast as possible and left my feet all flakey .... Looking at her facial expressions while she was doing my Spa Pedicure. She acted like she was too good to be doing that. If you have an attitude like that you don't belong there in the first place. She pretty much robbed me of 55 bucks by doing her job cutting corners. I'll never recommend her and I'd suggest avoiding her at all costs to all men and women.
