Sylvie goes out of her way to make your experience personal, and her attention to detail is out of this world. Her shop is clean, the cuts are stellar, and her prices can’t be beat. I went to Jessica for my first time yesterday. She listened to what I wanted and delivered. I am so excited to finally have someone I know I will go back to in NoVa. Her shop has a restroom, waiting area and 3 chairs. It is her shop. No other stylist was there when I was. She doesn't push any products, which I appreciate and is an easy conversationalist. Her prices are very reasonable. She loves to do color (i might go back for that). She takes plastic for payment. There is parking out front of her shop. She has flexible hours and schedules by appointment.

I highly recommend anyone who wants a great haircut to see Sylvie. We are so happy that she opened up her own shop. The location is convenient, and it is super convenient to schedule an appointment. It’s always wonderful to see Sylvie every couple weeks when I take my son or daughter in to get a cut and she does an amazing job every time. The salon is beautiful and extremely clean. We are very happy customers!!

I am so happy I found Sylvie! I have been searching for YEARS for someone to cut my boys’ hair that didn’t give them a buzz or bowl cut. My husband had went to her at her prior workplace and always loved her cuts. I’m so thankful I found her at her own location at Sylvie’s on 5th! She is so patient with my boys and most importantly, gives them a great cut. My husband’s hair looks great too. The location is so nice and quaint, instead of the chaos at a barber shop that I am used to.

Can't recommend enough! Sylvie is so friendly and an amazing, efficient hairdresser. She is gentle and doesn't trim more than you tell her to. The space is cozy and clean. Very affordable and super convenient location right off Main Street. Easy to book an appointment online as well and you don't have to wait when you check in either!
