Sylvia’s is a very professional and clean nail salon. The staff are very polite and efficient. The French manicure I got was the best I’ve ever had. The result was very impressive and I would go back without hesitation.

This is a super clean, well-kept salon decorated in red white and black, with a nice environment. There is usually nice music playing softly and some cooking show on the TV. They work hard to give good service. I have had to ask them to turn on their exhaust fan each time I came, which for some reason was not on despite the strong fumes, but I won't complain because they did it right away without an issue. I also found that they took extremely long (2.5 hours for mani-pedi!) But that may have been my luck with the person that served me. Overall was still a nice experience.

I used to come here for pedicures because they really take their time, but this visit was off. Before I even explained what I wanted for my nails I was told they don’t do long nails, which I never asked for. It felt unnecessary and weird, so I’ll be going elsewhere and I’d suggest you do the same. It’s not horrible, but the energy this time was just too strange to ignore.

I asked for them to soak off my gel polish. They didn’t. Instead she used a drill. Pushed my cuticles wayyy too far back. And my gel polish began peeling on day 2. Last time I went I realized the lady made me pay $35 when the price board said $30 (I checked the price board the second time I went). Don’t like when businesses add tip money to the original price, but don’t want to do what the customer requests. I won’t be back.

honestly I don't see what the hype is about. I went to get my nails done here and I got a fill in. Sylvia cut the skin of like four of my nails, I never got a fill in and the nail tech cut four of my nails. I was bleeding and she made it seem like it was no big deal. Then I got a pedicure and the women scrape the hell out of the heel of my foot. I went home and its still sore. Yes they take their time and Sylvia does do nice nails, but I'll never go back because they clearly dont know what they doing if they cut the skin of four of my fingers and scraped my heel like that. MY HEEL HURTS ! and it burns to wash my hands. Never again!
