I honestly really like switchyards and recommend it to everyone but it’s almost 3 am and it’s so loud in here I am about to go home even though I want to continue working. Why does the music need to be so loud? I can’t even record voice memos or presentations here because the music overpowers my voice and is so distracting. So many coffee houses are able to sustain a workable music level I really don’t understand why the music must be so loud in here? Can there please be some adjustment? Pretty please. I have tried all of the Atlanta locations but I prefer this one and this one is consistently super loud.
TLDR; tracked down from a noise complaint from a 30-second audio issue at club, cryptically contacted by staff about it weeks later. Switchyards did not attempt to make things right. Strange culture and approach, uwelcoming community of members. A few weeks ago, in the middle of an important work call, my headphones died. My computer froze and I was smashing the audio off button to no avail as my meeting sound came from my main speaker. I was able to mute after about 30 seconds and switched the meeting to my cell at lowest volume to finish up the call with my phone to my face. Although it was frustrating and stressful, I thought very little of it since I was in a workspace. This was my only time at this location, as I live in a different part of town and was just checking out a different
Music is wayyyy too loud. I’ve already sent an email about it and I see many reviews also saying the same thing. There’s been no changes. Also the coffee is disgusting! Doesn’t seem worth the EXPENSIVE price at all. Going to be canceling my membership after this month is up.
One of my favorite Switchyards (which says a lot because I enjoy all 9 of 12+ locations that I’ve visited so far) Loving my membership, definitely worth the investment as it passes the vibe check beautifully!
I recently signed up for this workplace and I am starting to fall in love with it! The price is reasonable if you live ITP. This was everything you need from snacks to drinks to being able to find the motivation to get your work done. This is like have a gym at home or going to the gym. Going to the gym is more motivating to working out than at home. The only thing I am still struggling is making goof coffee. I still like the Buckhead Switchyards coffee. The best about this is that this place is 24/7 which is great for the night owl that need to get things done. Parking is free to, just don't park in the BRR lot.
