Came here on winter break about a month ago to a new hairstylist(bad idea) for a highlight touch up. Amy had done my hair the summer before and did an absolutely fantastic job. She wasn’t available the days I was, so I booked with a stylist that charged the same amount, assuming I’d get the same quality of work. I told they stylist I wanted them a tad lighter. Mind you the highlights were originally like a dark honey blonde. When I said a tad lighter, I meant honey blonde. I didn’t notice how awful they looked until I got home to regular lighting and could see my roots. My hair was literally WHITE and my roots were showing? Why would a stylist completely leave the roots out and not only that, not blend the color to at least make it look good. My roots literally looked burnt. I went to a Sa

Darby listened to all of my needs and delivered amazing results! She was also so easy to chat with, which is such a bonus. The rest of the staff were very friendly as well — I didn’t catch their names, but overall the experience was great. I’m so happy I decided to try someone new, and I’m absolutely obsessed with my color! I’ll definitely be back in a few months!

Had an atrocious experience here. My first visit today I called in advance to request a stylist with experience with spiral curls and cuts. When I arrived I made sure to show her pics of my hair curly and straight. And clearly articulated I only wanted an inch trim MAX…she said she understood but by the end of the cut I lost 4 inches. As someone with curly hair this was EXTREMELY upsetting, as it takes forever to show growth. Here’s my hair blow dried before and after in photos. They comped the haircut & tried to smooth it out for length…but this doesn’t fix the fact that I’ll have to continue my book & press tour with this haircut. Extremely disappointed in this service.

Sam at Swerve Salon has given me the best haircut I’ve ever had. She’s incredibly detail-oriented and takes her time to make sure both my haircut and color come out exactly how I envision. What I appreciate most is how much she genuinely cares about her clients — she remembers details from past visits and follows up, making every appointment feel personal and consistent.
