Sweep Salon Berkeley

First time in this salon and what an amazing experience! Haley was amazing and knew exactly what I wanted after fumbling my way through descriptions and photos. Delicious pistachio latte and relaxing experience. I loved being able to book a silent service on my day off and really appreciate their respect and understanding. Also amazing that their hair washing station has a head rest - so important for neck health and comfort. Absolutely loved it thank you!!

Laura Wirick is an absolute miracle worker with hair. My thick, straight Asian hair can be challenging to style, but she consistently delivers exactly the cut I envision. I trust her completely, and beyond her technical skill, she's wonderfully personable and kind. My husband sees her too, and his cuts always turn out great. The salon also carries excellent products. I've discovered several clean brands there that I love. The intimate studio setting is a real plus for me; it feels personal and calm rather than overwhelming.

I’ve been seeming Taylor H for over five years now and I absolutely love my cut and or color every time I go into see her at Sweep. I totally trust her vision and love the way she consults with me all the way through the cut. I’ve been looking for a long time to be with a hairdresser that knows me, to stick with the same person and Taylor is my person. Most stylists at sweep are very well versed in balayage and coloring—I’ve never seen a bad color or style walk out of there, the color is always so well blended on everyone. The environment of Sweep is always cozy and inviting with the style of their salons, the decor, and the complimentary beverages. I’m so happy I’ve landed in this community.

Anna is absolutely the best! She is the only person I trust with my hair color because her attention to detail is unmatched. She actually listens to what I want and translates it into incredible, effortless color every single time. If you’re looking for a stylist who genuinely cares about getting it right, I cannot recommend her enough.
