I walked in without an appt to ask when Suzy could see me for a quick bang trim…. Knowing it was a long shot. By some miracle, her client was running late and she sat me in her chair on the spot. I asked for fringe and textured bangs and Suzy delivered. What she didn’t know is that it was my birthday- and her kindness meant a lot, especially since I am not a regular client. Now, this doesn’t mean walking in like that is advised. No no. Suzy’s schedule is stacked for weeks if not months! If you’re in need of some top shelf hair products, some cute clothes, check it out. It is always hard to enthuse our kids to get a haircut. We told them they would get a pony haircut at Suzy Q's and they certainly did their magic there. They are great with kids!

Suzie was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with my boy! He’s 4 and on the spectrum plus adhd. She was patient and showed him everything before she used it on him. He was so comfortable and sat still the whole time which has never happened with any other hair salon ever. When I called to make his appointment I explained his situation to her. She asked if there was anything she could do help him relax or if he likes any certain snacks. When his haircut was over she gave him his favorite slim jims! I cannot recommend her enough, especially for younger kids! 10/10! Thank you Suzie!!!

I am new to the area I needed a haircut real bad, so I googled best rated hair salons in Chincoteague Virginia and Suzy Q’s Shear Magic came up, I read the reviews and they were all good so I thought I would try. I called and I got an appointment with Susy and I love my haircut. I also booked one for the following month when I walked in everyone is so friendly I felt right at home. I’m sure everyone gets nervous when they have to find a new hairdresser but I wasn’t nervous at all very comfortable and Felt like I have been going there for years.

I am so, so, so happy that I gave Suze Qs Shear Magic a chance! I got my hair colored by Brooke and she was absolutely fantastic!! I know little to nothing about hair in general so when I came in looking to lighten my hair she was so kind and patient with me, explaining every option and step as she went. And this is by far the best my hair has ever looked!! I’ve already gotten so many compliments and my husband can’t stop gushing about how pretty the color looks! First time I’ve left a salon and actually felt more confident! Julia and Suze were the other stylists there and they were all so nice and welcoming. Felt like I was hanging out with some awesome friends not folks I had just met. 10/10 would recommend this company and Brooke and I will definitely only be coming here if I need anyth
