SURF CITY NAILS SPA

Very disappointed with this visit. I've been coming here for years. Prices have gone up and service is sliding. Yesterday wanted gel nails taken back to my nails. Service was slow and expensive and $35 dollars later I still have gel left on my nails that is chipping and I'm having to file and smooth after my manicure yesterday! Manicure included filing and cuticle removal that doesn't warrant $25.00

My wife and I wanted a mani pedi done. Debbie was our technician and I cannot say enough about her, very friendly , professional and catered to our needs. Her English was great and she actually listened and did everything we wanted. Salon was very nice and clean. So we highly recommend Debbie.

Debbie is amazing! She has taken excellent care of my natural nails and helped me to learn to take care of them! Everyone here is so nice and friendly!

I am indifferent about this place. Sometimes I like their work and sometimes I do not like it at all. It all depends on who does our nails. I ended up asking for a design the other day for my birthday. I would have definitely had her redo it but it was near closing time and I was already running behind schedule because Ruby got up and didn’t return for at least 5 minutes which was kind of annoying. The design looks absolutely nothing like the Virgo constellation I asked her to do. Her design has 5 “tails” and 2 squares whereas the actually design has 4 “tails” and one square. So frustrating to have to come home and fix my nails that I just paid them to do. Ugh. Other times that have popped off or broke super quickly or I leave with lumps and misshaped nailed. Scheduled an appt online for myself to get a pedicure & manicure with a specific nail tech. Also scheduled husband for a pedicure. Firstly my appointments were never even looked at. Then I was given to an older man for my pedicure, it was terrible, “RUSHED” is how I would describe this entire pedicure. I wasn’t even asked how I wanted my toenails cut, he just started cutting them all off & rounded. I wear square nails & a bit longer in the summer with sandals. It will take me months to grown this all back out. At one point my toe was cut by a sanding square. During my pedicure the nail tech I was scheduled with (owner possibly) wrapped my gel nails to soak during the pedicure. They were left on so long all my nails were beginning to curl inward and I had to get someone to take them off qui
