I've been having my nails done by Tina forever! I moved away and every single time I visit family I rush in to visit and have my full set replaced by her. They last so much longer than other places. Tina and the girls treat you like you are family. Prices are average/ as all places have raised prices drastically over the past year. Take time for yourself and make a appointment to treat yourself.

My family and I have been loyal customers of Surf City Nails for many years, and it’s always a wonderful experience. My mom and I go here regularly. Tina, the owner, runs such a welcoming and professional salon. I’ve never had a bad experience with anyone here – all of the staff are friendly and talented. Cindy does my nails, and she’s incredible! Donna and Lisa are amazing as well. No matter who I see, I always leave feeling great with beautiful nails. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, making it an even better experience. I highly recommend Surf City Nails for anyone looking for high-quality service and a relaxing, affordable experience.

1. Charged way more than menu claiming due to the “amount of hair” but I’ve done laser and barely have hair, and woman deciding price never saw my hair 2. Slow and missed patches because she wasn’t using a systematic approach- more here and there application 3. The lady who did the wax was getting yelled at by two ladies in the front to upcharge me, and she was clearly being bullied 4. They were yelling at her and me in front of everyone there and that made me very uncomfortable 5. They need to air that place out, high fumes 6. Loud ads from radio (very fear based and political)- that’s not relaxing

Excellent staff; Excellent job! They do not “ slap on Nails. So far they deliver a great set of nails that actually last 2 weeks! The average time that nails should last until the next “ FILL” Cuticles are pushed back & trimmed, product is brushed on strong and shaped great ! So far never an early LIFT PROBLEM “or a pain at all! REMEMBER; most places I have been to do”good” and no lifting for the first and second visit. After that the job becomes rushed, sloppy, lifts happen circles are no longer pushed and cut properly. Ladies? When you’re paying what we do for nails, all of this should be done without asking and with no extra cost. For that is what a fill or fresh set of nails is about. I have left other places because the job becomes sloppy , nails lift, cuticles are not pushed or cut.

A beyond rude owner! Rudeness at its highest and lack of customer service. It’s like you are at circus. Not recommending. Poor quality nails done, and then the owner becomes rude. No accountability or customer service. Mistakes can happen, but being rude with your customers is not acceptable. I leave big tops and treat people well. I expect the sane in return, but this is not the place you get that. Big no.
