Sunset Nail Lounge

Visited Sunset Nail Lounge today for a standard acrylic fill. I’m a regular client and usually see Linda or Lindo, but since it was Christmas Eve I took the first available technician, Angel. The service itself was fine, however I was charged $5 for length and $5 for shape at checkout. In my 15+ years of getting acrylics, I’ve never been charged for shaping during a fill, as it has always been included. I was also surprised by the “long nail” charge since my nail length has been consistent with previous fills that did not include this fee. When I questioned it, Angel stated my nails were considered long and compared them to her own natural nails, which didn’t feel like a fair standard. The receptionist was very kind and professional but unable to adjust the charge. I’ll continue coming

I genuinely enjoyed my first time at this salon. I normally do my own nails but as a gift from my husband, he told me to go and get my nails done, and I'm glad I did. I would definitely recommend this place and an thinking about just going and getting my nails done here instead of doing them myself. May have changed my mind lol.

Okay my nails have seriously never been so perfect! I will never go to another nail salon as long as I’m in town! She helped with making sure my nail is healthy and strong and my nail shape and color are literally perfect!!

This has been my go to nail salon for months now and I have never had an issue until today. I usually have the same nail tech however she was unavailable so a tech named Angel did my nails instead. I asked for a gel manicure and let the her know that I like a natural looking gel manicure. She asked if I wanted almond shape and I told her I would like them round and to keep them the same length with just file. As she was prepping my nails she begins full on clipping my nails down, removing all of the length. She then pulls out a gel X kit labeled “almond shape” on the box and was going to begin placing them on my nails. I kindly let her know that I did not want gel X, and reiterated that I don’t like things on my nails for length which is why I had asked for her to keep the the length they
