Sunburst Bay Tanning Salon

I’ve been going here for a few years and it’s just been ok. Ever since the new owner took over things have been great! Love the upgrades he’s made & he replaced bulbs that had previously been neglected. Also, he is very friendly/personable. Prices are reasonable. All around this is the best tanning salon in the area!

I had to remove my older 5 star review after new management took over. The last few visits I had were okay but there were no towels and the vibe isn’t there anymore. I think maybe it’s because the staff changed, the girls there were educated on what beds and lotions are best for your goals. I’ve tanned at multiple places in the area and this is just too expensive for what they’re offering. Not necessarily a terrible place but it’s expensive for self care that feels mediocre.

Super clean, I’ve used all of the beds, including the red light therapy. Staff is wondeful too! ❤️

No operational level 2 or level 3 beds. Not to mention are these bed levels even rated correctly? As with everything, there is a science to tanning. Level one and two beds are mainly UVB rays and build the melanin in our skin. Then level level 3's are normally a mix of uva and uvb. While the level 4, 5, 6 UVA beds bronze the melanin. Sitting and waiting 20 minutes for someone who pays for a level two bed membership and gets to use a level 4 for free because the level two are broken? Yet I'm unable to get a free upgrade? I pay more then double than the person with a level two membership.
