Sun Tan City LLC

I've been a long time member with suntan City and their latest deceptive practices are going to see more of a lawsuit filed in Kentucky against them for these deceptive practices. A fastest bed has now been rebranded and instant bed thereby disqualifying your current membership where you have to pay extra month of your membership to use as what they call now an instant bed. They've used the septic practices to get people off of their current program that they've been on for years so they can bump them up to higher membership dues without notification which is required by law. This company is going to answer for it because how they treat long-term customers and their deceptive practices is so irreprehensible and immoral it's simply pathetic.

I called to clear up a misunderstanding. Sun Tan City was pulling from our checking every month and then randomly pulled from a Savings account that we don’t use within the same bank. A lady named Amber answered. I started telling my situation. She cut me off and said call your bank then hung up. It ended up being Sun Tan’s City issue by selecting savings instead of checking. Not sure how it did that after being pulled from our checking the whole time before that.

Canceled my membership, the day before and it still charged to my account. I went back in to check my memebership and it never canceled. I called customer service and I asked for a refund because the canceling never processed and i was still charged. And they told me that they do not refund charges absolutely ridiculous!!

After this experience I will NEVER tan at STC again. Doris was no help with customer service. I canceled my flex plan BEFORE the 1st of May AND WAS STILL CHARGED! Doris said there was no way to get my money back and I wouldn’t be able to tan the month of May even though it already came out of my bank account.

Ok....I haven’t used this business in years. When I went back , I have been over charged ridiculous fees and wasn’t prorated in the beginning and I signed up in the middle of the month. The beds have been dirty in two locations. Knoxville and Lexington. I get attitude from salon workers when I report . I guess they get offend and I’m as nice as anyone can be about it. Laying on a bed in someone else’s sweat and whatever is not a very desirable experience. I have pictures of anyone is interested. Either way, feed have been added (which is ridiculous), we are already paying to use the facilities. Why add a sign up fee and then another $20.00 whatever fee. A 39.99 package turns in a 53.xx package. This place is not organized as it once was and until then, I highly recommend another tanning sa
