I moved into the city and was nervous to find someone who knows how to cut my hair well. I was recommended to see Esther by a co-worker a little over a year ago. Since then, I’ve been going to her for monthly haircuts and the occasional “soft” perm. My first perm was with her and I could not have been more satisfied with the result. Esther is an attentive listener and gave me all that I was looking for in a perm. She is highly skilled in her craft and so I have been recommending her to all my friends and family—who are also very happy with the haircuts and perms she has given them.

Esther is warm and kind, and worked with me to come up with a cut for my hair. I had a mullet I was growing out, and knew I wanted to have long hair eventually, but needed it evened up and shaped in the meantime. Esther gave me a cute cut for a starting point and we talked about what to do at future stages of growth. Then she sent me home with Korean tea and a snack!

I went to Esther at my mom's recommendation, and I couldn't have had a better and more efficient experience. Seriously - she got me in and out of the chair in 15 minutes. I loveee this haircut will be making this my go-to salon in the area!!

esther was kind, genuine, and knew exactly what to do with my hair. most hair salons are nerve wracking places for me but she is a natural conversationalist and i was put at ease quickly. fast cut without feeling rushed or like i wasn’t being listened to — you can get your hair fixed here and get back to your day

Although Esther is proficient in cutting hair each time I went back ( every few months) it was a different price. At first she was response to what I wanted but by the end she was dismissive and I left very unsatisfied with my “trim”. I will not go back because I don’t trust her. There may be a very simple explanation, maybe personal difficulties, I understand but it’s over for me.
