I’ve been going to Sulimay’s Studio for years, and Claire is the reason I keep coming back. Claire is one of those rare stylists you trust completely. I genuinely value her advice, and she always steers me in the right direction for my hair, not just what looks good that day, but what keeps it healthy long-term. Every single time she cuts or colors my hair, it looks vibrant, healthy, and effortlessly polished. Beyond the technical skill, she has a way of making you feel beautiful when you leave the chair. My confidence is always boosted, and I walk out feeling like the best version of myself. That kind of consistency and care is hard to find. If you’re looking for someone who truly listens, knows her craft, and wants you to love your hair, Claire is it. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I was honestly nervous to try someone new, but I’m SO glad I did. A friend from my gym referred me to Cara (she’s been seeing her for over a decade), and now I totally understand why. Cara did a phenomenal job asking what I wanted, really listening, and also giving her expert input on what would look best for my hair. I got a partial highlight and a cut, and the color came out perfect — super lived-in, natural, and effortless looking. Exactly what I was hoping for. On top of that, everyone in the salon was incredibly kind and welcoming. The whole vibe was fun, relaxed, and we genuinely had such a great time. I’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend Cara!

I moved to the manayunk area about a year ago and was in search of a place that offers a good haircut at a reasonable price. I found Sulimay’s through my google search and I’m SO glad I did. I’ve come here multiple times and always book with Cara. She always cuts my hair exactly how I ask and she’s SO talented. I love that she keeps it real and tells me what will work best for my natural hair (as I don’t style it often). Overall, I totally recommend this place and Cara!!
