I had an amazing experience at Sugar Hair Salon with my stylist, Maggie! 🌟 I have 3c curls, and finding someone who really knows how to shape and care for curly hair can be tricky but Maggie delivered. 💁🏽‍♀️✨ The salon doesn’t have a formal Curly Girl setup, but Maggie’s knowledge and experience is on par with DevaCurl and Rezzo Cut salons I've previously visited...meaning I still got exactly the result I wanted. She gave me a dry cut ✂️, shaped my curls beautifully, and handled coloring like a pro 🎨. Highlights can be intimidating for first-timers like me, but Maggie went the extra mile: she met with me before my appointment to assess my hair and understand my vision. I honestly didn’t know much about styling or choosing a color, so I trusted her completely and the result is amazing! 😍

I had the most amazing salon experience! From the moment I walked in, the team greeted me like an old friend — welcoming, cheerful, and genuinely fun. My appointment felt more like a pampering date. I was offered a refreshing drink that came with a chocolate treats which instantly made me feel special and set the tone for a luxury experience. My hair turned out beautiful and I left feeling absolutely spoiled and confident. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Just moved to IL and have been looking for salon that can work on curly hair, and I came across Sugar Hair Salon! By far the best place to get your hair done especially if you have curly hair. Maggie is absolutely wonderful and I felt like part of a family walking in there.
