I'm so thrilled with having Cindy do my hair. She does an amazing job . She really listens to what I want and does a perfect job. I could not be any happier. The salon is so nice and the stylist aren't jammed in together. Beautiful people in a beautiful place. You won't be sorry you went. Very reasonably priced on top of everything.

I’ve been going to Taylor at Style by Design for over a year now, and I truly wouldn’t have it any other way. She always makes me feel beautiful while still prioritizing the health of my hair. I love the atmosphere at SBD! Everyone is always so kind & welcoming, and the salon is always clean & inviting. I leave feeling confident and taken care of. I can’t recommend this salon enough. 🩷

I’ve been going to get frequent hair cuts and styling from Taylor for about a year now and she has been nothing but amazing. Her knowledge in curly hair is something I’m very appreciative about. Ive tried many hair dressers and Taylor’s ability to work VERY WELL with my hair is why I continue to go back to her. Very thankful to have found a consistent hair dresser for myself! Taylor is THE BEST I would highly recommend going to her.

I have been going to Cindy for nearly 25 years! Her skill and artistry are always on full display, and simply put, I have NEVER had anyone do my hair so beautifully. The salon itself is easily accessed off the interstate, and nicely appointed and the product lines they carry are quality. As an end to this review, I lived in Yorktown for 23 of those years, moved away and now drive over an hour for my appointment … Cindy is THAT good!

I am heartbroken and furious over the experience my daughter had at this salon. She went in for a simple layered haircut, specifically stating that she did not want any length taken off. The stylist, Angie, even asked her if she wanted bangs, and my daughter clearly said no. Despite that, Angie’s very first cut was to give her blunt, straight-across bangs no longer than an inch. Then, without permission, she proceeded to cut off over 5 inches of my daughter’s hair, gave her uneven sides, and completely destroyed the style. Her shoulder-length hair is now chopped into a shape that will take years to grow back. Angie even admitted she didn’t know how to do layered haircuts and chose to proceed anyway without asking for help. Who allows a stylist to cut someone’s hair when they openly admit
