Studio Taka

I love my visits to this salon. I've been a client of Taka for well over 20 years. He and staff are very knowledgeable about all hair. The salon has constant fresh air, great matcha tea and awesome neck/shoulder massage. I feel I can completely relax @ Studio Taka.

My wife and I met Taka more than 10 years ago when our daughter lived in Laguna and was his client. When we moved to Playa Vista, about 50 miles and an hour away, we decided to get our first California haircut from him. Now, almost ten years later, we make our sojourn to Laguna every 6-7 weeks and have never had anyone else cut our hair. He is simply the best! Also his staff of Corey and Julio start you off with a blissful massage and shampoo. It doesn't get better than this!

Loved the fact that Taka really listens and provides excellent suggestions - great cut too!! He is very professional and so is Julio, his assistant, who provides a comfortable and engaging experience. Beautiful setting in Laguna with roof-top lounge. Enjoyable experience and plan to go back.

My husband Roger and I have been using Studio Taka for well over 10 years now. The location with an ocean view is so therapeutic! Taka is a master of color and highly skilled in advising you which hair cut looks best with your particular features. We always feel so pampered and look forward to each visit. Taka's staff, which includes Justin and Julio, are also amazing and very skilled. The salon carries all Aveda products and the stylists use those products which best work for your particular hair. Aveda products are also available for purchase - one stop shopping! We recommend without hesitation Studio Taka, where the service is professional, courteous and a cut above! (no pun intended) ;-)
