I recently got a haircut in here by Mel! I am a new mom, and this was one of my first opportunities to go and treat myself to a really nice haircut… A few months ago, I went to a different hair salon in Jamaica Plain, thinking that I wanted to get my hair cut short so that it was easier to manage. The stylist there talked me into keeping it long, and I have been regretting it. I told Mel about this experience, and she was so supportive. She reassured me that the short haircut I was looking for would look great on me, and would be so much more manageable than the long hair.
