I showed a picture of myself and asked to "keep the length." Instead they decided to do absolutely none of that and provide a masculizing version of what I asked for. It basically looked like a bob when it first came out. Minimal texturing in the front and the cut came withiut proper consideration to the attributes of my hair. The guy offered to taper it back which did help a little, but left my hair REALLY thin. I told them it was too short and the dude started playing with my hair and saying that it's "still long." Legit started trying to prove to me that this is actually what I asked for... or that I should be satisfied? I don't really know what the goal was there besides maybe saving face. Vernon Go has been doing my hair since July. Always a great cut and I have thin spots and curly hair from chemo. He styles it to look thick and healthy and it's only 35 bucks.

If I could give zero stars I would. Back in 2019 my husband gave me a $250 gift card for this hair studio. He ended up passing away in 2020, clearly I didn't use the gift card. 2023 I went back to school to finish my degree and graduated this August (2025) I wanted to use the gift card to get a hair cut and freshen up for interviews. Well I go to the salon and someone working there (assuming the owner) tells me they won't honor the gift card. Mind you, there is no expiration date on the gift card. After explaining to her what I just explained here, she still said no. For an owner/employee not to honor a gift card regardless, is disgusting. I will never go back nor spend my own money, ever.

This place is great but it is very hard to get an appointment. It would be in super advance to get an opening if you're new to this place. Regulars have their own schedule already but other than that it's anywhere you go in any salon. That's why it earns a 4 🌟 for me. Merly give an excellent haircut for men. Since I have straight hair she cuts it with no problem unlike other stylist who doesn't know how.

Visiting the area, needed a haircut and had an amazing experience here. I’ve never had such a relaxing, splendid hair wash, conditioning and scalp massage. It was heavenly. Then a great haircut and style too. Definitely recommend!
