I can't say enough about this fabulous salon!! My daughter recently got married at River Dunes in Oriental and the bridal party had their hair styled by Jeannette and Nancy at Studio 55. We took a chance on this salon as we are from Massachusetts and have never used their services before. The owner, Nancy, made everyone feel welcome and at ease-- and she and Jeannette (the other stylist) did a fabulous job on everyone s hair. Not only are they very talented stylists but they are also exceptionally nice people too! Oh, and I forgot to mention that the nail tech Kim is equally as amazing!!! Thumbs way up for Studio 55!

My wife and I stopped at nearby River Dunes Marina in our boat after a long cruise and both of us needed a haircut....we were walk-ins and welcomed warmly. Diana was friendly and informative and did a great job for both of us; she even gave my wife tips on cutting my hair when we are away from civilization on the boat. Highly recommended.

I recently relocate from Long Island and left a dear friend who was my hair dresser for 37 years. I'm renting in Oriental and building in Minnesott Beach so wanted to try and stay local. After investigating the different options I reached out to them on Facebook and Nancy replied immediately. She was so helpful in answering my questions and reassuring, then scheduled me an appointment with Diana who is licensed for 10 years and colors her hair. Nancy has been licensed for 20 years; their experience was very important to me. When I walked into the shop I was welcomed like a new friend, they and Gabby were so friendly! What a great salon. Traveling through the area, I stopped in the day before Thanksgiving looking for a cut and blow-dry. They worked me in and Diana gave me a stylish cut that's easy to maintain. Couldn't be happier. Hope to have the chance to see these lovely, friendly women again.
