Daun initiated my locs in 2021. When I arrived, her chair and work area was covered with her previous client’s hair & she did not clean it. (I should have left at that point but I was excited to start my locs & waited a month or so so for my appt + I was having a baby within the month). Some of the starter locs she placed in my hair were so tiny in the part sizing compared to others. I had to have many of them combined months later, after learning the risk that they would fall out. If u take a look at the photos attached u can see an example around my temporal where one side has 3 locs the other has 4. These photos were taken in the parking lot of her studio, same day of service. Because of the style I received it is hard to see what I am speaking of however my experience remains the same.

DO NOT USE BRAIDS BY BRIE. Braids by Brie on Booksy, by Breonna Porter allowed me to book an appointment through Booksy, confirmed the appointment, accepted my deposit, but was a no call no show. She confirmed the appointment via text the day prior, also texted me 30 min before the appointment to let me know she would be 30 min late, and then cancelled the appointment three minutes before the start time through Booksy without warning, no call or text as a heads up after I drove 45 minutes, and spent hours ensuring my hair was prepped for the braids- PER HER REQUEST. Very unprofessional, cusses out clients in her Booksy reviews, beware of her terrible services.

Best hair place in the world shout out to bre and the boss. They always on time, make sure you feel safe and comfortable, and walk out better then you looked when you came inn 😜🤠

Service was exceptional. Her work is very professional. Time was efficient and no waiting. Really enjoyed the experience with Daun.
