The staff were polite and the salon was clean, but my actual haircut experience was very disappointing. I came in with clear reference photos and asked for a simple cut collarbone to armpit length with very light bottom layering, and expressed I didn’t really want face framing or short hair around my face. I also repeated that it needed to remain long enough for a ponytail (for work reasons). We talked through everything, and based on that conversation, I genuinely believed we were on the same page. Throughout the cut, I was turned away from the mirror (I trusted my stylist was just doing their job), so I never had a real chance to see what was happening or give input as the shape developed. I wasn’t offered a check in or asked whether the length or layers were matching what we discussed

I have been going to Strandz and have been an incredibly happy and grateful client of Lindsay for over 20 years. Lindsay is amazing in every way and all of the stylists and staff are very talented, professional, and friendly. The environment is always welcoming, fun, and respectful. Highly recommend!!!

We have been loyal clients for several years and have always appreciated the attentive, warm service we’ve received. Unfortunately, our experience today was a disappointing departure from that standard. The individual at check-in was dismissive and prioritized personal conversation over acknowledging us upon arrival. While we’ve enjoyed our time with you, we’ve decided that a 45-minute commute is too long to travel for an environment where we no longer feel welcome. Thank you for the years of quality care prior to today.

Tessa was my hair stylist and I couldn’t be happier with my experience and my haircut. I have curly hair and I feel that I have never had a good haircut in the past. Tessa is an expert in curly haircuts. She took the time to explain my hair and how to manage it. I am so happy I found this salon (and Tessa!)
