Moving to a new city, one challenge has always been finding someone I could really trust with my hair. After a few disappointing cuts from other places, I was finally recommended to Victor at Strands, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From short-haired fades to long-haired flow, Victor continues to give me the best haircuts I’ve ever had. You can tell he’s been in the industry for years (his experience shows in every detail) but what really sets him apart is that he stays up to date with the latest styles and techniques. He listens closely when you describe what you’re looking for and then executes it flawlessly. The prices at Strands are incredibly reasonable for the level of care and skill Victor brings. More than just a haircut, he makes the whole experience feel personal and intention

I asked for a trim and she cut 8 inches off. At first I was upset because it was short. After getting home I realized it’s CHOPPED literally 😔💔 it’s all uneven and there are individual strands that are still like my original length. 2 stars because the shampoo smelled nice. Also I paid full price and when I told her it was short she said it was bc of the layers??? My roommate also laughed when I got home and asked if it was an accident I’m so upset bc I heard great things about this place. Also here’s before and after straightening it immediately after I got home.

Niko was AMAZING. We did a full highlight and he was able to get me more blonde than any salon I’ve ever been to. He also matched the exact tone I wanted from the picture I showed! He took his time and was extremely thorough. I will definitely be back!

If you're a woman....don't go here. I used to get my hair done by Luisa, and she was incredible. She moved away, and so I booked an appointment with Miko. Went in for a bang trim and root retouch-up for my medium dark brown hair and curtain bangs. Ended up with roots looking the same color as my natural roots (black) and not what I asked for. The bangs were cut to look like a bowl cut. Ruined hair that I LOVED before coming in, even though I did not ask for a change in the slightest....Miko made rude/unprofessional/uncomfortable comments. We agreed on below my eyebrows, and my bangs now sit above my eyebrows. I am currently styling my hair, wearing the bangs back, and booked an appointment with a more trustworthy salon in December once they grow out again. It will take 1-2 months for my ha

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Luisa! As someone who is new to doing anything with my hair, especially coloring, I was a bit nervous going in. But Luisa immediately made me feel comfortable with her warmth and energy. She turned what could have been a daunting experience into something fun and enjoyable. Not only is she incredibly skilled at what she does, but she also creates an atmosphere that makes you look forward to your next visit. Highly recommend Luisa—she’s absolutely worth it!
