Let me start by saying I’m a girlie who loves nail art and fun designs, so I’m always cautious when trying new salons. My go-to nail tech is currently on maternity leave, and after a bad experience at another place a few months ago, I was hesitant to trust anyone new. But in April, I gave Stillwater’s Nails a shot, and to my surprise, they *nailed* my yellow chrome set. It was such a breath of fresh air that I decided to come back I did experience hiccup with this set but the owner personally reached out to make things right, which I really appreciated. I came here because I was in the area and I needed to get my dip powder nails removed. I don’t know if it’s because the lady I got was going too fast or she wasn’t cleaning her cuticle removal tool as she went but she stabbed me on one of my fingers and made it bleed. She tried to make it stop and put antiseptic on it but she did not want to put a bandaid on it. It wasn’t until I decided to call out to the manager that I needed a bandaid that the ball got moving. It’s a few days later and it still hurts! I was not looking for a completely free service after the mistake but they could have offered to discount me due to the accident.
