Customer Reviews
I was super excited to visit this academy. It’s been on my bucket lists for years now so I must admit I was a little nervous but excited. Everyone was so welcoming and really respectful! The inside is so beautiful and genuinely warm! Stevenson academy has always been my first choice; I just seemed to always miss admissions. Lo and behold, I’m finally able to do something I’ve always dreamed of! I love esthetics and I love helping others achieve their best looks, so I know that this is where I belong! I look forward to this journey and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to learn better/right techniques for beauty!
My hair looks better when I leave there than it does at the salons I've tried around here. The massages are great! I get better service for less cost. The atmosphere has a great vibe.
I haven't personally had my hair done here, but my husband and I renovated part of the interior for the Williams. I can't stress enough how RESPECTFUL, clean, humble and PROFESSIONAL this family is! They're hard working, fair, prompt and just an overall blessing to work with! The short conversations I overheard while working were encouraging and hopeful! Like I said, I didn't even use their services in that beautiful building, but they are such a complete pleasure to work with, that I had to let everyone know my experience! 10/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Establishment was very friendly with I was greeted as I came in. They use excellent hair products! My hair dresser, Ronnika, was very attending to me. I made another appointment for 2 week. I would highly recommend you trying them out.
You get what you pay for. It is students doing your hair so the price will be cheaper. You may luck up and get someone who knows what they are doing and you may not. My little sister got cornrows (no extensions) and whoever did them knew what they were doing. I got cornrows and my person did a sloppy job. Also the instructor (or owner) took one look at my hair, assumed it was thicker than what it was, and up-charged me more than the price listed on the website. My first time here, I got my hair washed, clipped and flat ironed and it was great, different stylist of course. My mom got a roller wrap and it was also great. But someone we knew went there and whoever did her hair didn't wash all the relaxer off properly and it resulted in a bald patch. So I would recommend going if you want a RE
